Founded in February 2006 by John Hutchison, Early Learning Services draws on 75 years combined experience of Australian child care industry professionals.
The team recognised the need for an alternate, high quality and affordable child care service in the Australian market. They also recognised that government regulations were driving single-centre operators out of the market and creating acquisition opportunities.
Early Learning Services listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX code: ELY) in December 2007, aiming to become one of the largest listed child care operators in Australia, owning and operating or managing centres nationally—while staying focused on the individual needs of each community. They currently provide child care and early learning development to more than three thousand children each day.
